1.th (First floor, on the right<), is not an ordinary restaurant, but more of a concept, created by the young chef Mette Martinussen. Her manifesto: "1.th. is the place where dreams meet - within the intimate presence of the living room, over the taste, smell and color of the meal, we discover each other, and speak." The restaurant is located in a luxury flat on the first floor of a building. The welcome drinks create the illusion of attending a dinner at a private home. The homely combined dining room/kitchen has been furnished by set designers from the Royal Theater, and it is where the nine-course dinner, paid and booked in advance, is enjoyed. The menu varies, but keeps to modern and classic Danish dishes. Sausages are Mette Martinussen's personal favorites and often appear somewhere on the menu. The restaurant has been awarded five stars by some critics, for its exclusiveness, creativity, and food art.
