we went to Acapulco and I agree with everyone else. It was hard to get through all the Taxi Drivers. They won't take no for an answer. They continue to follow you. It makes you feel very uncomfortable. Although I did get some beautiful snapshots from the Ship. ... Read Full Review | Report This

Acapulco is the worst of all the Pacific Coast Mexican resort cities. Too crowded, too dirty and far, far too much pressure from erstwhile "tour guides" trying to rip you off. ... Read Full Review | Report This

I went on a cruise to Acapulco and it was the worst place in mx. I have ever been. The people are ruthless and a cab driver got to me. Told me a trip 4 blocks would cost 3.00 and when He got me there wouldn't let me go until I paid him $30.00 I was so scared I paid him the money. Iam a senior citixen and you can just bet I will not go back. Very very very bad place for any good american to be. I told my cruise people on carnaval they just laughed ... I worked for two seperate cruise lines and I thought acapulco was the armpit of mexico.it has some bright spots,but the natives are ruthless in taking NO for an answer.I had to return to my ship several times just to get away from them.trying to exit the landing past the the taxi drivers was like running a gauntlet.I was constantly being offered drugs,jewelry or prositutes.the final closer was being offered the services of a 12 yr old prostitute.If you like being harassed and over paying in a so ...
