Aglio Olio Bistro is one of the unique Singaporean-Italian restaurants in the city. The interiors of this place are very earthy with bold magenta and shades of brown illuminated by oil wick lamps. Aglio means garlic and Olio means oil in Italian, and most delicacies have a blend of these two. There is also a placard on every table listing the health benefits of these ingredients. Another interesting feature about the cuisine is the use of chili padi instead of the usual chili flakes. Seafood Olio and Bacon Cream are favorites and Sotong Olio, Garlic Bacon Fried Rice and the Aglio Special Salad with Pasta are savory as well.
