excellent location for touring state 
good spot to come in if you want to see all the state offers-day trips for all points north-santa fe, taos, etc. took 2 days to see southern part of state-stayed at inn of the mountain gods (awesome room!) all in all-loved it! take tram to top of sandia peak-eat at mexican restaurant at base. lots of casinos to visit if you're so inclined.
