This tourist-oriented spot, voted "best plate lunch" by the Maui News Reader's Poll, serves cheap local eats in a gorgeous setting that overlooks the beach. It's on Front Street, about 10 blocks down from the main drag. Entrees include Ono, a mixed Hawaiian plate and the award-winning Coconut Prawns. The Shoyu chicken is considered by patrons to be one of the best dishes on the island. All plate lunches are served with two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. If you want to try some afternoon cocktails, stop by for Happy Hour.
