Altoona is my hometown and it is a beautiful place especially in the spring and fall.When I go back there for a visit I usually stay at the Comfort Inn. The place is very very clean and they have a great Continental breakfast.In the summertime it's fun to catch a baseball game when the Curve is in town. It's a beautiful new park and the team is exciting. Also there are fireworks periodically throughout the summer.The one exception as I see it - never go to Minuet Manor. It was a gorgeous pla... More
