Excellent cafe's and coffee shops, wonderful museums, be careful if you rent a car, no parking...!! but other than that...very good ...mostly clean, nice people, very nice shop people, attendants, etc...

i traveled to amstedam in december and altough it was cold the coffee shops were pentiful and most enjoyable.check out the red light district and go to the red light bar. also check out barneys,bulldog ,grasshopper.for those that stay near the central station go to resin

I WENT TO AMSTERDAM TWO WEEKS AGO - ONLY HAD A COUPLE HOURS THERE - AND ALREADY MAKING ARRANGEMENTS TO RETURN FOR A LONGER STAY! THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY AND TOTALLY LAID BACK.... NOT UPTIGHT LIKE MOST OF US! BEAUTIFUL CITY AND A BEAUTIFUL WAY TO LIVE
