I just returned from the most amazing experience and first ever visit to Central America. Guatemala is a very historically rich culturally diverse country with the most amazing views. I was surprised and overwhelmed with the many volcanoes that circle the city of Antigua. Despite this fact I learned that if I were to design a home in Guatemala it would be a replica of Casa Madeleine. The warm embrace of its rustic elegance and the many artisan details captured my artistic soul and curious eyes. Every morning we had a choice of a various breakfast selections from continental to typical Guatemalan to the exotic Greek breakfast. Everything I tried was delicious and oh fresh organic Guatemalan coffee..yummy.The team of employees at Casa Madeleine made every effort to make sure we had our tours in order car service booked and thought in advance of what we may need. Their friendly smiling faces and the personalized attention made our stay in Antigua most memorable. We also venture and toured Lake Atitlan Tikal-Peten and Chichicastenango and with each day trip or overnight adventured we looked forward to our return to Casa Madeleine like a warm cup of tea it hit the right spot. The hotel room was approximately US$100 plus a night; we booked all our tours and transportation through them.Overall it was truly the highlight of our vacation. You must stay and experience this wonderful Casa!
