Dzoraget is a small village in the Debed river canyon which is a place of incredible natural beauty which has only been enhanced by a slew of ancient monasteries including two UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Sanahin and Haghpat). There is also the cliff monastery of Horomayri the lost monastery of S. Grigori the beautiful frescoes of Kobayr and Akhtala the cartoonish monastery of Ardvi and the ancient basilica of Odzun.
