1.Don't Care About Customers

I had to cancel 24 hours before stay due to 5 hour life threatening surgery for my wife. They could not care less, charged my card $400 plus occupancy tax. No compassion, which I believe shows they don't care about their customers at all. I am moving to Aspen full time and could have put about $20k per year on revenues into their pocket by placing family and friends in their hotel rooms. Wont happen now. Even heartless airlines offer medical refund. Bad management.... More

CHECK IT OUT! Not a day goes by after all the bygone years that I--Aspen is not all about "pretence" as some pulp publications wish to spew. I stayed @ the Gant on a ski trip which led to a daily addiction for an adrenalin rush in the form of 80 mph runs down Ajax to Off Roading in the "high country" in the most pristine & sweetest tasten air in creation. I stayed @ the Gant on a ski trip which led to a daily addiction for an adrenalin rush in the form of 80 mph runs down Ajax to Off Roading in the "high country" in the most pristine & sweetest tasten air in creation. Tennis @ the Meadows in the morn & sneekn up on the brown trout in the Rifle afternoon & all the while smothered with shimmering aspen leaves decorating the landscape. I bought the 3rd " highest" home on Red Mt. Ranch so as 2 nvr leave. Movie strs & Trust Fund Babys abound with parties that last for weeks clothing optional but all are genuine folks. I call them friends & neighbors. Hang Gliding Photo Essays Horseback riding & Concerts in the Summer all with Maroon Bells as your backdrop. The stary nights so clear & @ 7500' you can pluck a star from heaven the air is so crisp. Night Life; clubs & resturants the best and adorned with the most beautiful lookn people of both genders. I hv traveled 60% of the globe on my yacht & live in Cabo now yet not a day goes by without Aspen (ZG) in my heart. Visit Live It breathe in the smell of the wood fires @ night & savor every moment of one of the most beautiful & enticing cities in the world.

It was back in the 70's! Yes I know along time ago but the best time in my. First I lived in Snowmass and then moved to Aspen. My condo was a 4 bedroom at $600.00 a month. YES THAT IS WHAT IS SAID. Even back then it was like a dream. When I leave this earth I will be put there. Bought a plot in the 80's. No place on earth is like Aspen or Snowmass... More

Aspen is great. Sure there are some rich jerks around but so what? Unless you are a jerk too then you won't really let it bother you. You can enjoy the great people that are around the rich international diversity and the art culture outdoors sports and delicious restaurants - www.foodieaspen.com - that exist in Aspen. If you can't appreciate any of those things then head somewhere else instead of crying about how you do not like Aspen. I think it's great.... More

I lived in Aspen for about ten years and there is no place like it. The people are intelligent worldly sophisticated charming and always fun to be with at any time. The place has an ambiance found no where else. My favorite time was always the summer less people beautiful scenery lots to do. Anyone who finds Aspen boring wouldn't be happy anywhere.... More
