Anyone finding Aspen boring is a boring person. I've lived in the valley my entire adult life and there is nothing boring about Aspen or the Roaring Fork Valley. Winter skiing is the best with choices of 4 mountains to choose from. Cross Country skiing is no better anywhere with full access to White River Nat. Forest to city groomed trails. Night life is fantastic, but you have to know where to eat. Try talking to locals to find the best spots. The X Games, World Cup competitions and Winter

love it. skiing very good, although vail is better by just a bit. nice town, nice restaurants etc. on the expensive side, but if u can, u will enjoy. overall, agree with your average ratings. totally disagree with the "boring" blog. must be brain dead?

I liked Aspen, but when we discovered Park City there was no comparison, Park City is more accessable by air, more mountains to ski, better restaurants and more of a community.. We like it so much we built a house out here.. RealEstate is more reasonably priced as well.

I have been going to Aspen since I was a small child, and it is always gracious and inviting. I met my wife via an Aspen trip many years ago, and now my wife and two children enjoy the family-friendly environment, as well as the fun night-life of the Caribou Club.

Been to Aspen many, many times, in both Summer and Winter and everything in between. Love it all year round! In spring the snow is melting and the rushing sounds of the runoff through the creeks is in the backdrop and the columbine are starting to bloom, in summer the colorful flowers are overflowing everywhere with hillsides displaying their now quiet pathways devoid of snow cutting down through the dark pines, in fall it's the Aspen trees with their bright yellow leaves making a sizzling sou
