When was the last time you were in AC, maybe 35 years ago it was a vacationing spot. You can't walk more than 10 feet on the boards without someone asking for a dollar or a smoke, what a joke, do yourself a favor if you do go down, stay in the casino's(LOL) ... Read Full Review | Report This

The boardwalk is great but the rest of the city?

A.C. is the only place where I have seen gun free school zones, drug free school zones yes, but not gun free. The boardwalk and Pacific ave are great but go one or two blocks west and you are in the slums. I lived in Brigantine NJ which is 2 minutes from A.C. and went to A.C. at least once every two weeks. The only reason I would go back into the slums is to go to White House Subs where they make the best cheesesteaks in the world. Nothing like an Atlantic City hard Roll. ... Rolling chairs?!? Are you kidding? The scary, drunk people haggle you and follow you until you agree to take a ride in this so called tourist attraction. What a joke. Atlantic City is a dive. And please don't bring your kids there there is nothing for them to do (unless you are going to the beach)...but generally speaking, that is not why people go to AC.
