Not as awesome as cracked up to be. 
We relocated to Austin due to transfer in my husbands job. Overall I have seen that the only thing bigger here is their bad attitudes. If you are not from here, they think they are better than you, even though you can tell most have never even left the state to compair. There are plenty of things to do, but be careful, most of the functions at Zilker come with the aroma from a Cheech and Chong movie. I find customer service to be down right below standard in any business, either no one to help, or someone contantly in your face trying to get commission. The traffic here is horrendous. City spent millions of dollars to try to alieve the congestion, but only the rich can use them due to the high tolls with the new roadways. The music scene is wonderful if you like a bunch of drunk college students for the atmosphere. Can't wait to leave.
