11.Exotic India

I took a business trip to Bangalore during the summer of 2006 and was surprised by a number of things. The most surprising thing about Bangalore was the climate - it was actually more comfortable weather in Bangalore during August than it was in Washington DC where I expected it would be extremely hot.I was amazed by the rapid growth of Bangalore as its often compared to Silicon Valley with all of the tech firms that have satellite offices there. Also the traffic is crazy some of the roads take forever to traverse and everybody is honking all the time. Also if you're unfamiliar with the smells that emanate from open sewage that can be a little unsettling.But it was a great experience and I loved the food and the magnificent colors especially the women in their saris walking down the street. I now understand why India is always a top travel destination and am looking forward to returning and seeing more of this exotic country.
