Maine near Acadia National Park is greatWe love to go hiking in Acadia and among the many great places to eat our favorites are Eden Vegetarian Cafe and Cafe This Way but we lokk forward to sea kayaking the most. We have been out with several of the sea kayak tours services in Bar Harbor. This last time we went out with Acadia Park kayak Tours and they are our favorite so far. My family has gone to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park since the summer of 1985. I started going in 1988 after I was born. The views are amazing and there is always something to do. We stayed at a National Campground on the South Side of the Island of Mount Desert called Seawall. It’s really quite there and you can get away from the bustle of the city. We stayed at a National Campground on the South Side of the Island of Mount Desert called Seawall. It’s really quite there and you can get away from the bustle of the city. Bar Harbor is a great place to visit and the various places to eat are fantastic. We always go around the 4th of July when they have a pancake breakfast in town and fireworks over the bay. I love it there and would recommend it to anyone that would like to try something a little different. Bring all types of clothes though because the weather changes often and bug spray. We cant wait to return this year!!!

We have been to Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor twice now and love it!Each time we go we find spots that are more beautiful and peaceful than the time before! We haven't had the opportunity to visit again for a few years now due to health and job issues but definately have it always in the backs of our minds to return there someday soon!...
