Went to Barbados from a cruise ship for one day. Hubby played golf at Sandy something golf course. Toured the Island saw sugar cane farms mango trees along the road Claudette Colberts (old time movie star)home. Cant remember too much about the place. Did not stay long enough. Probably won't go back.... More

I stayed at the Crane what a truly beautiful place from the hotel to the restaurant to the beach. I have been on many more Caribbean vacations since I was here but undoubtly it was the best. We rented a car and went sight-seeing and every night we went to St. Lawrence Gap to enjoy the food and nightlife. There is a restaurant called The Harlequin there and it has the best food (we ate there twice) it was so good. And the Bajan people are so nice unlike some islands I have visited since. Th... More

We rented a car and went sight-seeing and every night we went to St. Lawrence Gap to enjoy the food and nightlife. There is a restaurant called The Harlequin there and it has the best food (we ate there twice) it was so good. And the Bajan people are so nice unlike some islands I have visited since. There is plenty to do here from Snuba Scuba pirate boat parties parasailing jet skiing or just laying on the beach or by the pool. For a vacation full of total relaxation I highly recommend going to Barbados its the best.

I spent 10 months in Barbados and loved every day. The temperature is moderate and the water is unbelievable. All beaches are public. There is a lot of building gone on. More great places to eat than Chicago and what a view! Swim each day. Even days and nights most of the year so lots of day and night life. Swim with Sea Turtles and meet the warm and welcoming people. I felt safe alone or with friends and family. It is amazing. Listen to Jazz and Dance! Eat fresh sea food. I sh... More

I should just say stay away but it was too good to be tgrue. I loved my neighbors and miss the place this horrible winter in the Midwest. I was happy relaxed and healthy.

My wife and I have n=been to Barbados 9 times. We keep going back there because of the locals. We stay in St Lawrence Gap at Time out. The people are wonderful and the beaches very relaxing. Go to the beach on the divi end and see Beulah to get your hair braided or to buy tickets for excursions. She is like our sister now a wonderful lady who will remember you when you come back. Tell her you read this review by Bob and Dale and watch her face light up. She will never steer you wrong... More
