I highly recommend Bornliving if you are going to Barcelona to live or even to visit! It is a very good company that deals with anything from moving to barcelona, offers apartment rentals and has some very good insight and tips. You can find anything from culture, sights, eating out, places to visit etc. Here is the link for anyone looking for information: www.bornliving.com... More

Barcelona is an amazing city, and by far my favorite in Spain. There is something about it, and I keep coming back. I lived here for a year and rented an apartment from barcelona-home. The apartment was great and in the city center. Barcelona has so much to offer, from the night life, and food, beaches, art and architecture. My favorite city! I highly recommend going there, and promise you an amazing time!... More

my 19 year old daughter & I are planning a trip to Barcelona in mid-March. We would appreciate thoughts on a nice centrally lociated hotel. Also thoughts and not to miss sights and any easy side-trips? Many thanks!... More

Spent a few weeks in Spain and if you're looking to save a few bucks try staying outside Barcelona and catch the train into the city. We stayed about 50 km. up the coast from Barcelona in Santa Susana. It's a smaller resort town of the beaches of the Mediterranean with MANY 3-5 STAR resort hotels. We stayed at the Caprici Verd and for 2 of us it was only like 70 Euros/night which included buffet breakfast and supper. The electric train stopped right behind the hotel. Only 70 minutes to get to Barcelona. It was much quieter safer and less expensive than trying to book hotel right in the Barcelona. Many tour excursions can be booked right at hotel. Wonderful much less expensive vaaction!
