Belize City is ICKY 
Belize City is the crotch of the world.  It is dirty, unsafe and, particularly unfriendly and demeaning to American women.  The Cayes and the jungle are nice ... but i will NEVER go back to Belize City.  I saw raw sewage running through the open air fruit markets.  No, I shan't go back.
