Went to see Blarney Castle in November. No crowds no wating to kiss the stone.

Ireland is at the top of my list to revisit! My husband and I love to travel and we loved Ireland. It was beautiful the weather was wonderful and the people were so friendly. There are too many fantastic places there to name and so we are planning another trip. Dublin is the coolest place and the Guinness ain't bad either!! Blarney Castle had no lines the day we visited and kissing the stone is a MUST!We love Italy but Ireland is right up there with it! We never dreamed it would be so wonderful. The scenery is breathtaking and the food is out of this world!! Such a fun place!! I would recommend Ireland to everyone. Tauck Tours is my recommendation for the first time visit. Next time you can go on your own but Tauck takes you full circle around the Isle. It was wonderful!!

I visited Ireland in June of 2005 for 11 days with a tour group I fell in love with the beautiful Country I just couldn't take in enough of the gorgeous countryside I have plenty of pictures but they can't compare to actually seeing it in person. We went to Blarney Castle and most made the trip up to kiss the Blarney stone it was so much fun. Hope to return there eventually on a more personal trip to see more of the wonderful land of our Ancestors.

Report This14.I'm Jewish and I kissed the Blarney Stone

Thats Right! this Jewish boy from Indiana kissed the Blarney Stone...I walked those steps and said Just like bagels you don;t have to be Jewish to eat them..So to goes kissing the Blarney Stone...and by the way the Irish are beautiful people..The Emerald Isle is incredible..did anyone say I'll have a pint of Guiness..
