I visited Bogota a cuple of months ago and i was really happy to get the change to know the third-highest major city in the world. I shared this unforgettable experience with my best friend Emma (both had the opportunity to practice our Spanish and learn new vocabulary wich was really cool!).
Acommodation was grat! we booked at http://www.reservas.net/ssphtm/hotels_CO_BOG.html they were really nice and helped us made the best choice!

We are a US family living in Denver and I just took my family to Bogota and Santa Marta Columbia. My wife and I just traveled to this Beautiful country and had an amazing trip. The land food culture and security was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Not too many people spoke English so you really have to brush up on your Spanish.

We would highly recommend this not too expensive trip.

The correct spelling is c-o-l-O-m-b-i-a. We are not talking about the District of Columbia here or Columbia University. This is a country in South America with it's own name.

Very cosmopolitan city with anything and everything for any taste. The bustle and hustle of any large metropolis is evident at any time even at late hours you see lots of people ostensibly women to and from their homes and work places. Good european flavor enjoyable city. Great mountain backdrop and settings w/ lush greenery surroundings.Do travel to the outskirts of the \sabana\ or plateau for food and relaxation. Great international city wonderful restaurants and museums. Many great towns nearby Chia for family restaurants play areas and amusement parks horseback riding and of course dancing.
