Bologna is a fascinating city for a two or three day visit. The Western World's oldes university, the University of Bologna is located in the heart of the Old City with many of the buildings having housed it for many centuries. The cobble stone streets within the walls of the Old City are covered so that one can almost walk most anywhere within the walls in the rain without getting wet.
