The parades are in Shreveport actually not Bossier ,unlike other cities they make it kinda like a tailgating event with people camping out for spots along the parade .Love how they have a section just for families and a section for campers and then section for partiers. ... Shreveport is the best

The parade for Krewe of Centaur in Shreveport is fast becomming the biggest parade in louisiana. I think it's the best mardi gras place of all. There is so much to do in Shreveport that my wife and I wouldn't miss Mardi Gras there. The people are the friendliest, the beads are bigger and more plentiful and theres the Casinos right on the river plus the river walk shopping.
