The parades are in Shreveport actually not Bossier unlike other cities they make it kinda like a tailgating event with people camping out for spots along the parade .Love how they have a section just for families and a section for campers and then section for partiers.... More

2.Shreveport is the best

The parade for Krewe of Centaur in Shreveport is fast becomming the biggest parade in louisiana. I think it's the best mardi gras place of all. There is so much to do in Shreveport that my wife and I wouldn't miss Mardi Gras there. The people are the friendliest the beads are bigger and more plentiful and theres the Casinos right on the river plus the river walk shopping. If you haven't been to Shreveport during Mardi Gras you haven't been to Mardi Gras... More
