A Way of LifeBoulder sits up against the \Flat Iron\ Mountains. Very beautiful sight from the city and in the mountains. A great place for people who love the outdors (hiking rock climbing mountain climbing). It takes only five minutes and you are in the mountains. Boulder is also a college town home to the great mighty University of Colorado and home to Colorado Buffaloes. Downtown Boulder has great shopping places to meet friends and just hang out. There is always people at the outdoor mall playing musical instruments. Housing in Boulder ranges from Million dollar homes in the foothills to older homes and of course apartments. It is no doubt a great place live. Many people of have gone there to visit and never went back home they end up staying. Parents if you are looking to send your kids to world class university to get the best education in the world for a great price CU is the place to go to school. If you want to raise a family here or retire here and you like a beautiful view outside your door or you want to go enjoy that view up close and in person you mustat least check out a gem Boulder Colorado

COWe only spent an afternoon there over 10 years ago but enjoyed it so much...Being surrounded by mountains while in a lovely college town was breattaking. We ate lunch in a very old historic hotel....up lots of stairs....saw a moose in someone's yard. I would recommend going there as well as other famous CO cities...... More

I never saw so many tree huggers. If you get close to Boulder drive careful everyone has a bike and owns the road. The people are rude unless of course you donate to the save a tree campaign. After passing through the first time I found an alternate route for my return to Denver. I will never cross through Boulder again.... More

I just spent 8 days in Boulder. My son is a sophomore at CU and he just moved into a house on the Hill. We drove there from FL. After leaving the rental office 2 motorcycle officers saw me get into the car and promptly pulled me over. The officer asked me if I knew why he pulled me over and I had no idea. He took out a light meter and and measured the light coming thru the side window. He issued me a $100.00 ticket which also gives me 2 points on my licence. I have until 9/19 to pay. I'd really... I'd really like to fight it but I'll be in FL. I think a warning would have been sufficient. My son paid $60.00 to have the tint removed. Seeing that we had out of state plates I think he could have shown a little more compassion.Besides that everything else is wonderful. With the Flat Irons as a backdrop it sets the stage for a beautiful city/town. Pearl Street is a funky flower filled outdoor mall with constant street performers. There is a huge selection of restaurants. Take a drive out to Niwot {about 20 minutes} and they have a few wonderful restraunts with patio dining. It is really country. They make the best goat cheese there.Sitting in my son's room late in the afternoon relaxing with the wind gently blowing thru the screens it was so calming intoxicating. It must be the clean mountain air. Can't wait to return for Parent's Weekend.
