Bretton Woods is a beautiful place. You see amazing mountains and get a taste of New Hampshire. If you are looking to ski getting to the mountains and the ticket purchasing is not very convienent considering LOTS of people go there to ski and you have to walk up alot of stairs (in your ski or snowboard boots) to get to the ski lift. Still if you forgot something or you are hungry there is a great ski shop and restauraunt inside the ski complex. Also little ones should be left behind if skiing because there is only 1 baby hill and my 4 year old sister got bored of it easily. If you are older than 13 you'll love the skiing once you get up there... the tree runs are beautiful. Careful for ice! THere is alot. If you are looking to stay for a weekend or so stay at Mount Washington resort. The updated colonial antique feeling is warm and comfy and the down stairs restauraunt is AMAZING! THe food is great and there is a great mixture of employees from around the world. (my waitress was from Romania!) About the rooms...they are a LITTLE old for my taste but for someone who loves the old-timey feeling these are perfect. Down stairs is an adorable little shopping complex type of thing with a ice cream candy shop clothing store an club for young adults arcade spa pool and a gift shop. Also if you call the front desk you can arange for a private dog-sled trip horse-drawn carriage ride and other fun and unique things that the kids and you can do. The hotel is just beautiful. call 800.314.1752 for reservations. hope you found my review helpful!
