planning #6Went back to BA for a fifth time this time for a little work. Enjoyed the horse races the first weekend then had surgery on Monday. Was out and about Tuesday. The portenos are not judgmental about a little plastic surgery and care not a bit if your face is swollen and bruised. Had no trouble finding dance partners. If you can follow they will lead. Had several follow up visits to check progress and they fit in nicely with my gallavantling around at all hours.

Stayed at the Conventillo de Lujo. Great price and location. Has a tango studio and great owners that will make you feel at home.

I just got back from a fantastic two week trip to Buenos Aires. Here's a quick run-through of my stay...

Stayed at Hotel Vitrum (http://www.vitrumhotel.com/) in Palermo Hollywood. Upscale artsy and excellent service. Highly recommend it. Took a bike tour to Tigre with Urban Biking (http://www.urbanbiking.com/) and then booked another to the northern part of Buenos Aires. Had some great meals in the Las Cañitas area. Thought Puerto Madero was nice but overrated.
