MexicoAfter staying at Fiesta Americana in Los Cabos Mexico for 4 days and having used the beach cabana area all of those days on the 4th day I left my beach bag and sandals on one of the beach chairs and walked up the beach for an hour picking up shells. Upon returning a cabana boy was standing at my chair with 2 customers and to my shock told me I had to leave because the chairs were "reserved". I told him I was a guest at the hotel and was going to meet some people at the pool anyway. There were 4 chairs 2 new customers and at least 40 open chairs on the cabana area. The cabana employee rudely told me no I had to leave as if a tall blonde white woman (which I am) was some kind of beach bum. How embarrassing for me and the new customers! I made a complaint but no one apologized. I also tried to rent snorkle gear from the activity hut which several employees had told me to do in order to snorkle at the beach. The man at the activity hut told me he WOULD NOT rent me the snorkle gear. I told him I would need 3 sets one for myself and 2 for male friends who would be returning from a meeting at 3:30. He had the nerve to ask if I had a certificate to SNORKLE. Then he stated that too many people get scratched on the rocks. I told him I was very experienced as well as my friends. I had to complain to 5 different people over his head and finally he brought the gear and rudely stated that I had better return the gear by 4:45 or else. I assumed he was only rude to me because I was a woman and white. We spent over $3000 for 5 days at this place. I'll NEVER EVER stay at the Fiesta Americana again and WILL tell everyone NOT to go there. They were rude JERKS.
