I've been to "Cabo" 5 times w/ family and friends. Enjoyed it at first but it is changing. The last time there we stayed at the Grand Regina (a supposedly upscale place). On a whim I took a flight directly across the gulf to Mazatlan. Much friendlier place. The food is authentic better shopping nicer people much much more to do and it even has a historic section. You have to stay in the north end though (Nuevo Mazatlan) as the city is large and has some very poor areas.
OH AND THE COST OF LIVING AND REAL ESTATE IS LESS THAN HALF OF "CABO". As I understand it they are developing the north end even more w/ one of the largest pacific marinas and multiple golf courses. Check it out before you go to Cabo.

(the spring break for adults)Love it so pretty and ultra romantic deep sea fishing lots to do. Our resort is on the sand and we have no complaints. Love it. Word of caution leave your diamonds at home and instead bring out the pretty shell necklace forget the gucci and take the flip flops instead. And most important is to leave that snotty attitude at home. Relax on the beach with the love of your life and a Corona. Ahhhh priceless. A memory maker!... More

I made my first trip to Cabo San Lucas in 1994 and swore to come back every year. With the exception of 2 trips to Italy I have kept that promise. I bought a timeshare on the beach the 2nd visit and never regretted it. I leave for Cabo in 4 days for my annual week vacation. The people at my resort are friendly and polite. Some have been there up to 30 years. I've had the same maid for over 5 years. The food is good if you know where to go. I've not seen any trouble there except for 18 year... More

I've not seen any trouble there except for 18 year olds having their first beer. There is plenty of activities and great scenery. The nightlife is great for those young enough to participate. Great golf but expensive. The fishing is better. Marlin dorado (mahi-mahi) tuna and sailfish abound. Find a relaxing resort on the Pacific side for peace quiet and safety.Dennis Nizzi
