1.Annual timeshare for past 15 years.

I've owned a timeshare for a week in June for 15 years and use it. The same familiar faces of both guests and staff at the Solmar Resort is comforting. I find less time to go into town because I'm enjoying more time just relaxing at the ************* a 2nd home to many of us. You're even welcomed at the front desk with a "Welcome home" upon arrival.
Cabo San Lucas and surrounding area had flourished in 15 years but I see cantinas replaced by jewelry stores. Less rowdy fun but mo... More

I'd been to the Cabo area twice then after we were married, my wife and I vacationed there 2 more times. Favorite hotel is the Pueblo Bonito Rosa. Favorite restaurant the Maison de Angeles (very romantic eating under the stars). We prefer San Jose more than San Lucas. It's quieter and has 15 to 16 quality art galleries. (Also worthwhile is a trip to Todo Santos where there are additional galleries and restaurants.) For a good snorkle trip head to Cabo Pulmo.... More

3.Grand Regina Villa Owners Sue Starwood and Raintree Resorts

Great rating for the stay at Club Regina, as timeshare owner. Purchase of a Grand Regina Villa fractional ownership in 2005 soured the stay by 2007 &*****************; 08. Now we are in US Court for full redress.

(September 11, 2009) &*****************; A group of over 150 purchasers of a fractional ownership villa project in Los Cabos, Mexico have united against Raintree Resorts and Starwood Vacation Ownership after these and related subsidiary entities defaulted on their obligation to build the property yet failed to return owners’ funds.

Been to Cabo 5 times. Just hubby and I have went for a romantic trip we've went with friends we've taken our kids and parents. This place is suitable for any vacation... to party it up or slow it way down. We haven't been disappointed except for the 6th time we were there which was on a cruise. A disappointment because we were only there 1 day. The beaches are clean the locals are friendly the food is terrific and affordable if you know where to go. Have read about the crime on other post... More

Have read about the crime on other posts although we haven't had any problems and have felt safe in downtown Cabo. Actually we were in a rain storm downtown Cabo about 10:00pm and all power went out. (Of all places we were in a jewery store.) Even in this situation never felt unsafe. Just have to be as smart and aware as you would going anywhere. We went to Hawaii for our last trip which was wonderful but my husband and I just can't wait to get back to Cabo!
