went to cancun in dec 08 there were no beaches only big rocks trying to hold back the crashing tide way to dangerous to go past ur knees if u enjoy beaches and they are a big part of your vacation don't go here (cancun)... More

3.Cancun and stupid people.

6 Years ago my wife and I went to the Sheraton. We had w great time for a week spoioled only by the staff in the restaurant. On our first morning for breakfast I asked for scrambled eggs. When they came I asked for ketchup. The waitress who spoke pretty fair engish when taking ouyr order said Ketchup? What is. I said you knwo the red stuff that is make out of tomatoes. She still didn't understand so I said let me speak to your boss. Her boss came out and after about 5 minutes of explainign what... More

By this time my egges were cold and I did not have any breakfast. The next morning same waitress same dialog. She went and got her boss and same dialog. When I finally got the ketchup I re-ordered my eggs and ate a warm breakfast. For the next 4 mornings same waitress same situation. She got a four cent tip from me for the week and we have not been back to Mexico since.

4.Cancun Nightmare

No one ever plans to get sick on vacation especially in Mexico. My husband's drink was tainted at our resort. The resort confiscated the substance he vomited and put it in their SAFE we had no idea what he ingested but he got deathly sick with neurological changes and we had to go to Hospiten Cancun our bill for 1 night came to $5592.00 which they wanted upfront on arrival to the ER they want a credit card on arrival and immediately charge $5000. They will keep you longer than necessary becaus... More

PS the resort Dreams promised to reimburse us but to date have not. Our trip was in November

5.Never had a nightmare in Cancun

My husband and I have been to Cancun 5 times and never once have one of us became sick. They tell you to drink bottle water which is provided in all the rooms. We have booked all of our trips with Applevacations and they have always been well organized.
The only negative of the 5 trips there was the Crown Paradise Club Hotel we stayed at was the worst hotel. Staff was not friendly and we had upgraded rooms but there was nothing upgraded about it. I would recommend any of the RIU Hotels an... More
