Tour of the Riviera

 I traveled to Cannes for a day while traveling along the coast of France. I was there in February and the weather was very pleasant. I never made it to the festival but it's much cheaper in the off-season. I wouldn't go back to Cannes unless I went to the festival. I didn't feel as if there was much else other than the film festival. But if you like sandy beaches and great food, this is the place to go. ... Read Full Review | Report This

Riviera at it's best

My wife and I went to Cannes as an award for work and really loved it. We stayed at the Carlton right on the Croisette across from the water and its a magnificent hotel. You have to pay to go to the beach and can rent chaises and umbrellas, but its worth it. The view of the bay and the Alps to the left and Esteral mountains to the right make for a fantastic view.
