Cape Cod is cool. I grew up there.
It's like another world on the Cape - the winding roads through the quait, small villages. In the summer, the population explodes exponentially, and in the winter it can seem like a ghostscape, especially on a dark day.
The Cape Cod natives would just as well you stay home and leave their little world alone, but tourist income during the peak months keep them going during the long off-season.
The crown jewel of Cape Cod, IMHO, is Provincetown or "P-Town."

The Cape and Islands are a great place to visit in the summer. Not only is the weather perfect but they have some amazing beaches and restaurants with a very unique feel and warmth to them. Surprisingly the best spot I found is off the cape in Onset where there is a giant beach, salt water taffy, some amazing little restaurants, some cultural events, great hotels. Definitely a great place to visit during the dog days of summer!

The "Cape" is full of things to do. If it's stripper fishing in the Cape Cod Canal or down off one of the many beaches or browsing the many tiny shops that cover the Cape there is never a lack of things to do.At the very tip is Provincetown,a old fishing town where one can get a whale watching boat for a day in the bay searching out the "giants" of the sea.The freshest seafood is served daily down the Cape caught rite off the shore and landed every day.The small towns that cover the Cape are fu

September may be the best time to visit Cape Cod (for those of you who do not have school aged children). I rediscovered this beautiful part of Massachusetts this year. The beaches are sandy and gorgeous as well as relaxing sunsets. Some seals joined us on the beach and were swimming close to shore - a joy to watch. Small quaint towns with shops and more shops, along with art galleries, specifically, in Welfleet which is towards the end of the Cape. Then, there are the restaurants and fr
