If you are looking for legendary Greek hospitality, go to Chania and the nearby villages. The Venetian Harbor is beautiful and surrounded by outside restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately, I did not find any restaurants that were exceptional. They were just OK and I think the better ones are located in town (no view).
