I went to Charlotte to visit my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. This was a special trip to take my daughter and granddaughter to see Mamma Mai at the Belk Theatre. What a wonderful experience. The production was magnificent, the theatre absolutely stunning and theatre personnel the best. The rest of the time was spent shopping, dining out, spending time with my family and enjoying the wonderful weather we had. Talk about over priced, .I have 10 times the house and land in NY for a 1/4 of the money and I have a inground swimmng pool. but if thats what you people need to feel important Go Charlotte because thats all you have is high prices, and NO JOBS, and the humidity and bugs. Ill be staying in NY curled up in front of our pellet stove on a real snow day with my famliy.Dont need your weather or your million dollar churches wow does the word sucker ring a bell. you even need a big production to pray once a week . and you have the nerve to blame it on the northern's good luck to you and your banking community LOL

# 9 has it correct. the old Charlotte folks were true southerners but Charloote has become a big metro melting pot of America (like Atlanta). If you truely want to find the old south then you must visit anywhere in South Carolina or rural NC & Georgia. Northerners and Mexicans are infiltrating the larger cities but skip over SC for the most part. Reason? Because SC and rural NC & Georgia is \clicky\. If you truely want to find the old south then you must visit anywhere in South Carolina or rural NC & Georgia. Northerners and Mexicans are infiltrating the larger cities but skip over SC for the most part. Reason? Because SC and rural NC & Georgia is \clicky\. We are like that on purpose to keep our true Southern Traditions ALIVE! And YES # 4 we do smile in your face and talk behind your back. We were taught by our parents and grandparents before them what is proper and decent and what is not. We are never rude or loud and will talk about those quietly in our own circles who are not. True southerners will not be pulled down to act like Northerners! We will quitely keep to ourselves. Any of the southern states are a joy to visit if you really are looking for a TRUE SOUTHERN EXPERINCE. I would just stay out of Charlotte unless you are wanting a big city melting pot experience. Isn't it funny that the reviews are only bad for the places that the northerners & mexicans have taken over. Should tell us all something. Sinccerely One of the last True Southern Belles (still living on King's Grant Land from Scotish ancesters)
