lots of good restaurants . . try the brew house.. great food and drink. Lots of professional wrestlers live here . .. they used to be prt of the now defunt NWA.. but still fun to see them . . they are absolutely characters .. like sort of cartoon guys .. but your kids will know and think it is cool. OTHERWISE .. the scenery is GORGEOUS west of Charlotte . . AND DID I MENTION GREAT FOOD??? ... More

Listen facts are facts Charlotte is a beautiful city and most of the people are uptight business people wether your southerner a Yankee mexican afro-american asian etc. And this is a reply to the review directly under this wow you seem pretty angry at us \southerners\ huh? As far as people wanting to know what Charlotte is like well here ya go..... education as far as the school systems: POOR just awful one of the worst in the nation so if you have kids you really need to research that to find out more. Charlotte is a growing city drivers are crazy VERY fast paced...forget the southern slowness of things!! Too much construction confusing traffic patterns poor air quality over populated and growing. Like as said Charlotte is a pretty city but I wouldn't live or work there!

IF YOU DONT LIKE US NORTHERNERS IN CHARLOTTE MOVE ON OUT...OUR GOAl is to be the majority in 10 years. we are truthful hard workers and yes we are LOUD...if yall donts likes it move on out to yonder before we drive you into the sea...PEACE OUT YALL.... Having lived in Charlotte for 10 years now... I used to like Charlotte however New Yorkers are moving in way to fast.... and the new yorkers that first went to Florida are frustrated with the surge (and hurricanes down there) They have infiltrated the city as well.... Dang... I really hate the loudness in their voices and they are rude and pushy. I moved here for my job and some southern slowness... This city and the banking industry has ruined the city... Welcome to Charlotte thanks for visitin... More
