Seeing the hill tribes was very special. Each tribe had a uniqueness about them. The long neck women the akha headdresses the little old couple smoking opium it was all fascinating

I enjoyed this part of our three weeks in Thailand although if I'd been a back packer it'd have had a different appeal. I stayed there 5 days.. really too much considering the trekking I did was from the night market to the restaurant from the restaurant to the bar etc..you get the picture ! I liked the TukTuk experiences on the motorcycle.. what a kick to video that ! my viewers almost got vertigo.. and the tuk tuk on bicycle.. well we almost gave this old guy a heart attack going up hill...stressful ! Lots of temples..art.... cheap transport... what I did not like was the pollution the town is dirty & smogy and that part was unpleasant. prices in bars and restaurantsabout half of USA restaurants ... easy to get around in English
