Chimes is a small, Chinese restaurant with takeout situated in the Seven Sands Hotel in the Al Barsha area of Dubai. Only recently opened, Chimes is making quite a name for itself by providing a very competitively priced but extensive menu. Starters include vegetable spring rolls and Tom Yum soup while main courses cover all the traditional favorites and various styles of rice. Deserts too are plentiful as far as Chinese restaurants go. The venue itself is bright and cheery if a bit on the small side. Staff are friendly and service is speedy. Free takeout and delivery services are also available. Perhaps it is not the most lavish restaurant in the area, but what Chimes does offer is good value, friendly service and a convenient location just off Sheikh Zayed Road. - Hayley Skirka
