We visit every year and we love it. Great place for a family trip. Honestly its even a great place with out the kids. Restauraunt are excellent. You must eat at Frenchy's at sunsight... view is excellentI. deffinately recommend going here if you are looking for a great beach vacation. Also they are improving greatly by adding so much more resorts and restaraunts. just getting better and better.... More

I went to Clearwater last summer and I don't know if it was the time of year or what but a bunch of nasty seaweed was stacked up by the shore and it smelled terrible. Aside from that I had an amazing time and it was just a friend of mine and I but the water was far from clear. They have parasailing which was a blast also. And a strip of little shops and restaurants to pass thru. Not something I would travel far for though. ... More

We have visited Clearwater Beach several times while in Florida. It is a great beach: clean not crowded well-maintained and has lots of places to grab lunch or drinks even while still in swimsuits! The \Beach Shanty\ is the best place to grab a sandwich! Excellent food at an affordable price.Parking can be a challenge as most parking is for hotel guests. Traffic gets congested in mid-morning and late afternoon the usual rush hour times everywhere.If you can afford to stay right on Clearwater... More
