1.A great jumping off point for a Western Vacation

Flying into Colorado Springs is a great experience. Everyone is friendly, the climate is mild and it's easy to find your way around. Be sure to visit the Olympic Training Center, then head just outside of town and go to Manitpu Springs, the magical Garden of the Gods Park,and Seven Falls then head west on 24 to Lake George and the Tarryall River Ranch for the best vacattion of your life. Flying into Colorado Springs is a great experience. Everyone is friendly, the climate is mild and it's easy to find your way around. Be sure to visit the Olympic Training Center, then head just outside of town and go to Manitpu Springs, the magical Garden of the Gods Park,and Seven Falls then head west on 24 to Lake George and the Tarryall River Ranch for the best vacattion of your life. A Dude Ranch doesn't begin to describe what a great place this is. Family owned and run they have 67 horses for you to chose to ride into the most beautiful mountains you can imagine. Eat a breakfast cooked over an open fire in the mountains, ride a great horse to a box canyon or a quartz mine and enjoy the spectacular views, go whitewater rafting, enjoy a hayride in a wagon pulled by two beautiful Belgian horses, Blanche and Bonnie, flyfish in the Platte oor Tarryall River, enjoy trap shooting with the mountains as a backdrop and enjoy the best homecooked meals west of the Mississippi or relax in the pool and hot tub after a game of horse shoes or volleyball. No pollution unlike other cities...No humidity unlike other cities..They have the healthiest people every year according to polls for fittest places to live..They take advantage of the many many park and recreation facilites that are available to them and most are free.They dont put a price on the great outdoors...Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it is a place to behold...... Of all of the places we've lived (too many to count) Colorado Springs is the best. Beautiful friendly top rated schools and downright affordable taxes. Steer more towards the S/W side where you'll find the Broadmoor Hotel Cheyenne Mountain State Park and Old Colorado City. D-12 schools are number one in Colorado and you can expect city or mountain views from any of the semi custom or custom homes built at the base of Cheyenne Mountain. Camping. Hiking. Mountain Biking. Luxe shops and resta... More
