Copehagen is FANTASTIC! If traveling with a family (or as a couple), check out taking an apartment rather than a stay in a hotel. It is cheaper to eat in for two meals and marketing in Danish is a blast. Also find a small bakery/cafe near the apartment. They will be cheaper than cafe/deli/restaurants near city center or at Tivoli. Jazz fest in July is great. Open air music and "hygge" (lots of fad'ol/tap beer, vin/wine, and kaffen/coffee) everywhere. A day at Tivoli is a must for anyone of any age (Walt got the idea for the Disney theme parks here). Also, get out of Copenhagen (train rides are fun and easy). Roskilde is a great day trip. Go and enjoy a wonderful experience amonst some of the friendliest folks you will ever meet.
