interesting...Cordoba was a very interesting city. The city itself is built with surrounding walls and has excellent history and a beautiful Mezquitta. The line to get in the Mezquitta is very long so try to book your reservations ahead of time but you will not be dissappointed. The inside was very crowded but beautiful at the same time. Also the city is very confusing street wise with streets running everywhere. When I was in Cordoba there were carriage rides being given but watch out for the horse poop that was scattered among the streets. The city was not aweful but it wasn't exactly clean. Upon entering the beautiful gates and narrow streets of the city we found ourselves walking past a half nude woman nursing her child while sitting on a street corner as well as very old poor woman sitting on the groud begging with her arms outstretched. It was kind of disturbing but the rest of the city is worth it. Also beware of the gypsies outside of the Meqzuitta. Do not stop at all keep walking. I stopped and the woman grabbed my hand and told me my fortune while not letting me go. Then she demanded 5 Euros but wouldn't let go. To get her away I finally paid her 1.10 Euro for the Rosemary she stuck in my shirt pocket. Do not stop for anything if you see these people they are simply trying to rob you of money. Also there are good sandwiches here and bull's tail is available as well but I could not find it. The shops are questionable as I bought a souvenier only to realize it was made in China once returning home. However most of the people here are friendly and courteous other than the gypsies but every large city has their problems. This city was pretty good overall.
