Friendly town. Great tour with English guides of Inka ruins in and nearby Cusco. Stayed at Mister Inkas Hotel a low cost but clean hotel with private bath & hot water. Low cost taxi and tours available.... More

Just having returned from there my body is still feeling some effects from the altitudes. As given previouslywe stayed at the Libertador which is a 5-star hotel. The service was above and beyond and the people are very sweet. The outside vendors are very aggressive but one can fend them off nicely. We found the hotel food to be tasty given the gastric problems that may occur. The market downtown was very busy but not without some goods to enjoy. If the people in Peru would drive carefully t... If the people in Peru would drive carefully the sight-seeing would be more appreciated. Make sure you visit the mountain villages.

good food and cheap hookers. anyone who travels here will find that. there is mistique and folklore and bountifull geography...as well as thieves and the peruvian national passtime(s) are lying cheating and stealing. go for the land the sky - IF u can handle the altitude. Likewise with the food better than mexican and faster in giving u the trotts! Best in country weight loss program - shigela! Bon voyage!... More
