I love Dallas Texas for the food, fun, healthy sports minded folks and for the business opportunities that abound. The restaurants range from world-class and expensive to scrumptious yet economical. The atmosphere can be warm and comfy to cold and exotic and the options are seemingly infinite. Eclectic is the best description that I can use to classify the dining in Dallas in one word. I moved to Dallas 9 years ago from Miami and it was a big change, but it is a good place to raise children and work. You definitely get to experience all 4 seasons, although the summers are very hot. Crime is an issue and the drivers are very rude, but it was way worse in Miami. The shopping is great. Air travel is an issue--you either fly Southwest with stopovers or put with American Airlines.
