I truly regret, not having crossed the border into Syria 
My son, and I were vacationing in Jordan, and we had lunch at a restaurant very close to the border of Syria. Our driver suggested taking us to Damascus. However, I'd already extended our vacation once to see more of Jordan, and decided against it. I've been mad at myself ever since, and know that I'll never get the opportunity again..
