We didn't make it to the Air Force Museum this trip, but I highly recommend it to anyone interested in history or air craft.
We visit about once a year and always find the folks at the airport friendly and helpful.
We don't eat out much when there because we are visiting family but have always been pleased when we did.... More

Dayton is home to the largest U S Air Force Base in the country. It also houses the USAF Museumwhich is a breathtaking display of military history and artifacts that can occupy a visitor for days. And did I mention that it's FREE. The Museum is family friendly providing rest area and a small snack bar. as well as an inexpensive gift shop. DON'T MISS the IMAX theater for an exciting experience.... More
