everything went great,consittering there was a bad winter storm in denver when landed. but coming back the detroit airport from one plane to another was so far apart. then need to do something about that.on trans through tunnels that is realdiculas.other then that everything went well.thanks judy walker.... We travel to Denver at least twice a year to see our son, dtr-in-law and 2 grandchildren. We usually stay in downtown Denver as we enjoy what it has to offer, good restaurants and shops. This time we stayed closer to our son's home and had an equally enjoyable time. While the airport is too far away it runs smoothly.... More

Restaurants: Italian - Abruscis on Youngfield near 32nd on Lakewood/Golden border is a great place. And in Golden, CO, the Golden Hotel along side Clear Creek has a pleasant outdoor patio for its restaurant. A short trip into the mountains takes you to the Blackhawk and Central City gambling casinos.... More
