Sandestin is the best resort for the money 
At least years ago, myself and a group of other folks stumbled upon the Sandestin Resort when we were looking for a place to take a group of about 50 (snow skiers) for a weekend of fun.

We'd actually picked out a place and as we were leaving we saw the Sandestin sign and decided to take a look.  After the great welcome, tour of the property and great lunch, we immediately canceled out the other location.

When the fun weekend came, the group was welcomed heartily by the staff, most of the rooms (in the Oceanside tower) were ready for us and the decor of the facilities were top notch.

When the group finally saw the beach, I watched their mouths drop open and everyone was so excited at the bright, white sands and updated chairs and umbrellas.  Service was provided on the beach for those that wanted it.  We had lots of activities planned, but they just loved lounging.  

Sandestin prepared a cater meal for us and everyone just raved about it.  The place, the beach, the staff, facilities and all of the other guests were great.  Yeah, Sandestin!  I make it there at least once or twice in the summer.  Just went there this weekend.
