DRESDEN IS ON THE TRAIL BACK

WE VISITED DRESDEN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 2001. AT THAT TIME IT WAS WELL UNDERWAY TO BECOMING ITS FORMER PRE-WAR SELF WITH THE PROMISE TO BE COMPLETELY RECOVERED BY ITS 700TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2006! WHEN WE RETURNED IN 2006, IT WAS EVERYTHING IT HAD PROMISED TO BECOME. THEY HAD ACCOMPLISHED SO MUCH IN THOSE 5 YEARS. THE MUSEUMS ARE WONDERFUL, THE ARCHITECHTURE IS WONDERFUL AND THE HOTELS ARE GREAT. TOURISTS HAVE REDISCOVERED IT. GO WHILE YOU CAN. ... Read Full Review | Report This

I have visited many places in Germany, and do enjoy all of them. However, the beauty and history Dreden continue to draw me back again and again. The Elbe, the Frauenkirche, the people.
