Debrovnik, 1945 
I remember Debrovnik as a beautiful walled City with a moat at the old entrance. I had just turned 18 and was really impressed with the old City. I will never forget walking and sitting on the wall at the waters edge, the view was breath taking, I still have some old pictures, I only ate in the city one time but it was an experience. I was there approx 30 days aboard a USA  Liberty Ship, courtesy of the Merchant Marines, delivering wheat to Yugoslovia. I would love to go back again, I have fold memories.
