11.My Last Choice Airport

Where I live I have a choice of flying from Reagan Dulles and BWI. I use Dulles only when there are no other alternatives. There's no mass transit to the airport and finding your parking lot requires a map and a compass. It also takes way too long to negotiate your way between the security area and the gate and even longer to get from the gate to baggage claim or ground transportation. Flew in on Sept 14 on way to England and stood in line forever--over an hour--to clear for our flight which we missed by 10 minutes. On returning from England Oct 5 same problem. Four flights dumped 800 people with 10 minutes of each other. Made my connection just as door was getting ready to close. ... More

13.Glad the previous post had a good review... it sucks in my opinion

We arrived at Dulles from Calif in April. Had a decent flightin but the Car rental area had no shelter it was below freezing & nowhere could we find shelter while awaiting for our bus. People were speaking in either Jamacian or Hatian languages other than english & I actually wondered if we were still in America at all....... The people were rude & there was a gun drawn at the Carrows we stopped at to eat. Not a place I'd like to go back to at all !!... More

For years I have flown into this airport from California. Easy getting around finding gates stores and bathrooms. You can park right in front of the airport and walk across the street with no speeding by cars. It's perfect!... More
