Hike to that Stone cabin, it's like a different world

Some rich oil guy in the early 1900's found this place and had professional stone cutters build this cabin out of stones. It's like a northwest forest up there, very pretty in the fall, but interesting anytime. ... Read Full Review | Report This

Guadalupe Mtns

The mountains are just a few miles south of Carlsbad, New Mex. we lived there for five years and all I can say is the mtns are beautiful, McKittrick (we hiked up to Pratts Cabin) but the people's hateful attitude in Carlsbad towards anyone who was not born there takes the beauty of the mtns and other areas surrounding them to the lowest levels. ...
